Implemeting community policing in Lebanon
The general objective of this project is to support the implementation in Lebanon of a model of community policing that respects the rule of law and promotes social cohesion.
The project is implemented by the FIIAPP, which acts as coordinator, with the support of CIVIPOL for component 2.
Specific objective 1
Strengthen the Internal Security Forces of Lebanon in their role as drivers of stability and national cohesion
Specific objective 2
Supporting the professionalisation of municipal police forces at the service of citizens
Specific objective 3
Guarantee respect for human rights by the Internal Security Forces while strengthening their collaboration with civil society
