CAPACITY BUILDING FOR THE LEBANESE RESEARCH AND INTERVENTION BRIGADE – RBRI LEBANON

The aim of the RBRI project is to provide capacity building for the Lebanese research and intervention brigade. The project is funded by MEAE-DCSD (Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs – Directorate for Cooperation of Security and Defence) and led by the National Security Service of the French Embassy in Lebanon with support from CIVIPOL which is responsible for the project’s financial, administrative and logistical management.

Description

The aim of the RBRI project is to contribute to operational capacity building for the Lebanese research and intervention brigade to improve basic and continuous training for Lebanese officers and officials through training and courses in France, together with operational support in the form of materials.

Aims

 

The RBRI project has a dual aim :

  • Reinforcement of the research and tailing component through specific training and procurement of materials ;
  • Intervention capacity building by mastering professional techniques and the implementation of immersion courses.
