AWARENESS-RAISING ON THE TERRORIST THREAT WITHIN PARISIAN PUBLIC HOSPITALS (APHP – ASSISTANCE PUBLIQUE DES HÔPITAUX DE PARIS)
The aims of the awareness-raising are in particular :
- Provide concrete guidance to prepare establishments, staff and users in the event of an attack by instilling in them good reflexes, behaviour and positions to adopt.
- Ensure such groups are in a position to better react before the arrival of the police and throughout the incident.
Awareness-raising sessions
The awareness-raising must conform to all ministerial directives issued throughout 2016 on the prevention of terrorism and best practices that all hospital staff at all levels as well as regular users of health establishments must absorb.
This is part of the compulsory awareness-raising for staff and will be dispensed on an annual basis to all staff, office holders, contractors, interns, students, permanent or long-term providers.
The management of the service delivery is supervised by the general security advisor and his/her deputy together with the managers for fire safety and general security for each of the hospital establishments or the AP-HP’s PIC (Pôle d'Intérêt Commun – General Services).
